Fender guitars

Fenders have held a place on the electric guitar market since the beginning of the electric guitar market, and there's no question why in the mind's of those who have had the chance to strum out even a few chords on these little masterworks.  My own bass guitar is a Fender, and it's one of the few things that has followed me loyally over the last decade.  A decade is far less than some have held onto their guitars from Fender, however.  The famous 1954 “Strat,” or Fender Stratocaster, started a legacy that has been touched by millions of players – including some of the most famous.

Eric Clapton used a fender guitar with twenty-two frets.  Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins used a Strat.  The list of celebrities who rocked the world with these guitars go on and on.  But what is it about the Fender guitars that make them a musician's best friend?

It's not that every Fender guitar is perfect.  Fender guitars vary in style and sound, since they have made the decision to appeal to a broader audience and make their guitars accessible even to those with a lower budget.  The Fender guitar is a bit bulkier than some of its counterparts, and on cheaper models you can't expect a star-struck sound.  However, with Fender guitars, you will get a reliable name.  These guitars don't bend in sound and they don't break easily.  You can trust these guitars.

Beyond the issue of trust, for the price, it's difficult to find a sound as good.  There are other good manufacturers, but the only I'm willing to compare to Fender when it comes to sound quality compared to value, is Ibanez – another manufacturer that has had a hold in the music world from the beginning.  Fender has earned its spot amongst the top, and if you give them a chance, you're sure to see why.
